Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how All-Star Talent, Inc. (“All-Star Talent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through our services (the “Services”), which include:

  • Our websites, including allstartalent.us, lawenforcementrecruiter.com, and other websites we operate that link to this policy (the “Sites”)
  • The All-Star Recruiter platform, including the web application, candidate portal, and versions offered under partner brands such as Law Enforcement Recruiter (the “Platform”)
  • The All-Star Inbox mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”)
  • Our recruitment, consulting, marketing, and event services, and our sales and customer communications

Our customers are public safety agencies and other organizations that use the Services to recruit (“Agencies”). If you have questions, contact us at privacy@allstartalent.us.

Summary of key points

  • We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Candidate information belongs to the Agency. We handle it on the Agency’s behalf and according to its instructions.
  • The App contains no ads and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
  • You have choices, including opting out of marketing, replying STOP to texts, and asking us to access, correct, or delete your information.

1. Our role

Website visitors, business contacts, and Platform and App users. For information about people who visit our Sites, contact us, or use the Platform or App as Agency staff, All-Star Talent decides how the information is used and is responsible for it under this policy.

Job candidates. When an Agency uses the Services to recruit, the Agency decides what information is collected about candidates and how it is used. We store and process candidate information on the Agency’s behalf and according to its instructions, and we do not use it for our own purposes. If you are a candidate, please contact the Agency directly with questions or requests about your information. We will help the Agency respond.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and business information, such as your name, email address, phone number, agency or organization, and job title, when you request a demo, schedule a meeting, sign up for an event, or contact us.
  • Account information, such as your name, work email, phone number, Agency, role, permissions, and sign-in credentials, when you use the Platform or App. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
  • Communications, such as emails, messages, and call details when you communicate with us.

Candidate information processed for Agencies

The Platform and App process information that candidates and Agencies provide, such as candidate names, email addresses, phone numbers, interest and application details, documents a candidate uploads, appointments, tags, application status, notes, and the content and history of text messages, emails, and calls between the Agency and candidates.

Information collected automatically

  • Website usage information, such as pages viewed, how you arrived (for example, from a search, an ad, or a link with campaign tags such as utm_source), approximate location based on IP address, and browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 3.
  • Log information, such as IP address, date and time of access, and actions taken in the Platform, used for security and troubleshooting.
  • App information, including a push notification token so we can alert you to new messages; device model, operating system, app version, and time zone; diagnostics such as crash reports and error logs; and activity such as when messages are sent, read, or marked read.

Information from others

We may receive information from Agencies (for example, when they import candidate lists or invite staff) and from systems an Agency chooses to connect to the Platform, such as applicant-tracking, background-investigation, or job-board services.

Device permissions

The App asks for permission to send notifications. If you tap a phone number, the App may open your device’s phone dialer. The App does not access your location, contacts, camera, photos, or microphone. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure when someone who clicked one of our ads requests a demo. You can manage ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center.
  • Calendly, which provides our embedded scheduling calendar and may set its own cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features, such as the scheduling calendar, may not work without them. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. The Platform uses only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep it secure. The App does not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to these signals, our Sites do not currently respond to them.

4. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and support the Services, including signing you in and showing you the information your Agency has given you access to
  • To send and receive text messages, emails, and calls on an Agency’s behalf
  • To send notifications about new messages and activity
  • To offer optional AI-suggested replies (see Section 5)
  • To schedule and hold demos, respond to inquiries, and manage our customer relationships
  • To send information about our products, services, and events to business contacts, subject to your choice to opt out
  • To understand how the Services are used, measure our advertising, and improve the Services
  • To protect the security of the Services, prevent fraud and misuse, and troubleshoot problems
  • To honor opt-outs and comply with messaging rules, legal obligations, and lawful requests

5. AI features

The Services can suggest replies to candidate messages. To create a suggestion, the recent conversation and related candidate details are sent to our AI service provider, which processes the information only to generate the suggestion and does not use it to train AI models. Suggestions are never sent automatically; a staff member reviews each one and decides whether to send, edit, or ignore it.

6. Text messaging

Agencies use the Services to send text messages to candidates who have provided their mobile number. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect other communications with the Agency.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver messages, such as Twilio.

7. How we share information

We share personal information only as follows:

  • With Agencies. Agency administrators can see account and activity information for their staff and all candidate information belonging to their Agency.
  • With service providers that perform services for us under contracts that limit their use of the information, including:
    • Twilio and other messaging providers, for text messaging and calling
    • Cloud hosting, storage, and email delivery providers
    • Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, for App notifications
    • An AI service provider, for suggested replies
    • Google (analytics and advertising), Calendly (scheduling), and Webflow (website hosting)
  • With systems an Agency chooses to connect, such as applicant-tracking, background-investigation, or job-board services, at the Agency’s direction.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, court order, or public-records obligations that apply to an Agency, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, candidates, us, or the public.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

8. How long we keep information

We keep candidate and message information for as long as the Agency’s account is active or as the Agency directs, which may be governed by public-records retention rules that apply to the Agency. We keep Platform and App account information while the account is active and delete it within 30 days after the account is deleted. We keep business contact information for as long as needed to maintain our relationship with you. App diagnostic data is kept for up to 90 days, and website analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics settings.

We may keep information longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it. Information in backups is isolated from further use and deleted as backups are replaced.

The App does not keep its own separate database. It retrieves information from the Platform when you use it, and any copy temporarily stored on your device is removed when you sign out or delete the App.

9. Deleting your account

Platform and App accounts are created and managed by your Agency. To delete your account, ask your Agency administrator, or email privacy@allstartalent.us from the email address on your account. We will confirm the request with your Agency, remove your access, and delete your account information as described above. Deleting your account does not delete candidate records or message history, which belong to your Agency.

10. How we protect information

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls based on each user’s Agency and role, and logging of access to sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your sign-in credentials private and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. Your choices and rights

  • Marketing emails. Click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or contact us. We may still send service-related messages.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any message.
  • Cookies. Use your browser settings and the opt-out tools in Section 3.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@allstartalent.us. We may need to verify your identity. Candidates should send requests to the Agency, and we will help the Agency respond.

California residents. Depending on the circumstances, California law may give you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask once per year for information about any personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures. Residents of other states may have similar rights under their state laws. To make a request, email privacy@allstartalent.us.

12. Children

The Services are intended for agencies, recruiters, and job candidates and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. Agencies are responsible for information they collect about candidates under 18, such as for cadet or youth programs.

13. Where we operate

The Services are offered in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed. If we make material changes, we will notify Platform and App users in the Services or by email before the changes take effect.
